Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking. By using The Dog Den Field you agree to be bound by the conditions below.

These terms and conditions govern the use of The Dog Den Field, a privately enclosed dog walking field operated by Jayne & Carly, based in Coventry, West Midlands. By completing a booking and entering the field, all visitors — including any guests — agree to abide by these terms in full.

General Use & Entry

  • All visitors enter and use The Dog Den Field entirely at their own risk.
  • By booking and entering the field, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions in full.
  • The Dog Den Field accepts no liability for injury, loss, damage or accidents occurring to dogs, owners, children, vehicles or personal property while on site.
  • The field is a natural outdoor environment and may contain uneven ground, mud, standing water, insects, wildlife and other natural hazards.
  • These terms apply to the named booking holder and all guests accompanying them.

Dog Health & Vaccinations

  • All dogs must be fully up to date with their vaccinations, flea treatments and worming treatments prior to visiting.
  • Dogs showing any signs of illness, injury or contagious conditions must not be brought to the field. This includes but is not limited to kennel cough, parvovirus, ringworm, mange or any other infectious condition.
  • Bitches in season are not permitted on site.
  • The Dog Den Field reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog that appears unwell or poses a health risk to other dogs or visitors.

Owner Responsibility & Supervision

  • Owners are fully responsible for their dog(s) and their behaviour at all times during the session.
  • Dogs must never be left unattended in the field or on the premises.
  • Children must be fully supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • Owners accept full responsibility for any injury, damage or incident caused by their dog(s) to other dogs, people or property.
  • The Dog Den Field will not be held liable for dog-to-dog incidents, injuries or disputes.
  • You must ensure all dogs in your care are under your control at all times.

Field Safety & Personal Risk

  • The field is a natural outdoor space. Surfaces may be uneven, muddy or slippery depending on weather conditions.
  • Visitors must wear suitable footwear for outdoor conditions.
  • The Dog Den Field accepts no responsibility for slips, falls, injuries or accidents sustained on the premises.
  • All play equipment and field features are used entirely at your own risk.
  • Please report any damage to equipment or fencing to Jayne or Carly immediately.

Waste & Cleanliness

  • All dog waste must be picked up and disposed of immediately using the bags and bins provided on site.
  • Please take all other rubbish away with you — leave the field as you would wish to find it.
  • Failure to clean up after your dog may result in cancellation of future bookings without refund.
  • Keeping the field clean protects all dogs, visitors, and the surrounding environment.

Booking Rules & Session Times

  • Each session is 50 minutes of exclusive field hire. Please arrive and depart strictly within your booked time slot.
  • Late arrivals will not receive additional time. Late departures that overrun into the next booking may result in a charge.
  • Only dogs included in your booking are permitted to enter the field. Do not exceed the dog count stated at the time of booking.
  • Extra dogs brought without prior agreement may result in immediate termination of your session and/or additional charges.
  • Bookings are personal to the account holder and may not be transferred to a third party.
  • The field is for exclusive private hire only — no shared sessions.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of a booking are non-refundable.
  • Package credits that are not used before their expiry date will not be refunded or extended.
  • No-shows without prior notice will be charged in full and may result in future bookings being suspended.
  • The Dog Den Field reserves the right to cancel a session in exceptional circumstances. In this case, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

Weather & Field Conditions

  • The field remains open in most weather conditions including light rain, wind and cold.
  • Sessions will not be refunded due to rain, mud, cold weather or other typical outdoor conditions.
  • In extreme or dangerous weather conditions (e.g. lightning, severe storms, flooding), The Dog Den Field reserves the right to close temporarily for safety. In this case, affected bookings will be rescheduled or refunded.
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather — outdoor conditions can change quickly.

Refusal of Entry & Removal

  • The Dog Den Field reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or dog at any time.
  • Sessions may be ended early and future bookings suspended or cancelled if any of the following occur:
  • Breach of these terms and conditions.
  • Aggressive or dangerous behaviour by a dog or visitor.
  • Failure to control a dog, clean up waste or maintain safety standards.
  • Any conduct that compromises the safety or enjoyment of others.
  • No refund will be given where a session is terminated early due to a breach of these terms.

Photography & Privacy

  • You are welcome to take photos and videos of your own dog(s) during your session.
  • Please do not photograph or film other visitors without their explicit consent.
  • The Dog Den Field may occasionally take photographs on site for promotional use. If you do not wish to be included, please inform us before your session.

Your agreement

By booking and entering The Dog Den Field, you confirm that:

  • You have read and understood these terms and conditions in full.
  • You accept full responsibility for your dog(s) and any guests accompanying you.
  • You accept all risks associated with outdoor activity and dog exercise.
  • You agree not to hold The Dog Den Field liable for injury, accident, loss or damage.
  • All dogs in your care are vaccinated, healthy, and under your control.
